I have a studio at my home in Hampshire. I am particularly interested in the exciting processes of Raku firing and of Smoke firing porcelain with resists.
My pots are thrown and then incised and altered before bisque firing. Decoration is inspired by the natural world, light and shade, plants, especially the movement of water and the sea. Smoke firing takes place in a bin, using newspaper as fuel.
